The weeping woman

Amy was excited about her elder sister, Emily's, wedding that was in a few days. Her sister's too - be- husband, Pete, knew Amy, 9 years old, and treated her as a younger sister.

Everyone was happy about the marriage except for Pete's cousin, Sam. Sam thought that Emily was weird and boring.

On the day of the wedding, everyone was gathered by a beautiful lake. The lake was bright blue and was really deep. When everyone left, Pete was searching the river as he had dropped his phone.

He, unfortunately,

slipped on a rock and drowned in the river. Emily started crying. Emily also drowned in the very same river, but her ghost has been spotted sitting by the river crying and yelling Pete’s name. Sam was suspected to have pushed her, but he claimed he didn't.

Her screaming and mourning are heard often by people. She will most likely be in this state until the end. Parents use the story as a method of keeping their children in line. Emily, unfortunately, can't afford peace for eternity. People still hear her cries to this day.

~ THE END ~
