The incident of 78
The three friend's story was leaked and had taken over the internet. Although many people were scared, many still didn't believe it. Ann, Beth, and Lisa, a group of middle school friends, didn't either.
The story takes place in 1978. These young girls were having a sleepover. They were very excited as they had finally gotten permission from their parents. They chirped happily. After dinner, they decided to play a game. "Bloody Mary" was popular so they decided to try it out. They still thought it was silly.
Beth got the candles
and the three excited girls went to the bathroom mirror with no clue what was
in store for them.
Lisa counted to three and they all started repeating "Bloody Mary" three times to summon the women behind the mirror.
They then waited
patiently for ten minutes. Nothing happened. The girls exchanged looks and
thought it was just a kid's story after all.
Was it?
The girls went to bed
fast asleep a bit disappointed that the myth was a lie. Splatter, splatter, and
splatter. The sound of some sort of dipping was coming from the bathroom. It
was 2:45 am. The sound had woken the kids up. They knew it was nothing more
than someone accidentally leaving the tap open.
They went to the
bathroom and saw that the candles were still lit. It was strange as the candles
should've been melted by then. They examined the tap but it was off. They
stared at the mirror. The ground started shaking and the door was shut. The
mirror broke and a voice screamed," Who dared summon me!?" Lisa
started screaming. Beth was about to faint and Ann was frozen. The mirror
cracked and a lady crawled through it.
In 2057, a book was found. It was an old, pale, red book. It seemed to be a diary. A kid seemed to have owned it. It had the entire story and the bathroom incident seemed to be written with red ink. The game truly is a mistake and children around the world play it to this day.
