An unwanted surprise

 Amy's birthday was coming up and she was excited. Her mother, Joe,  wanted to get her a doll, but just buying things for the party made her lose her budget. She decided to get a cheap one from a garage sale.

She looked around and found a small doll plush with blue hair and green eyes. The owner, for some unknown reason, gave her the doll for free. 

On the day of the party, Amy was extremely excited to get the doll. She named it Sue. 

At night, Amy placed the doll on the table beside her bed and went to sleep.  

The next day Joe found her daughter ill. Amy's eyes were hurting. The day after that, there was a problem with her nose. And the day after was a pain in the arms. A week passed and her entire body started to hurt. Joe was worried and took her to the doctor, but it was no use. After a month, Amy was admitted to the hospital. 

Joe sat on the sofa holding the doll. She, for some reason, started imagining her daughter in the doll. The doll had changed. It looked way more realistic now. When visiting her daughter, Joe grabbed the doll as Amy loved it. Joe left the doll at the hospital with Amy and went home. The next day Amy was reported dead. Joe was in tears. She wanted to at least see her daughter once before the doctors took Amy away. Joe screamed seeing her face. It was blank! The eyes, nose, and mouth were flattened into the skin. The doll, sitting on the hospital bed, was looking like it had human skin and smelled like blood.
